Il Gallo della Checca - Ranzo (IM)

Il Gallo della Checca, a truffle restaurant with its own Tartufaia as well as an osteria and wine shop since 1986, is located in Ranzo, a small inland Ligurian village on the border with Piedmont. One does not arrive here by accident, but because of the gastronomic value of the address, which is certainly worth a special detour. As you cross the threshold of the entrance, you will find yourself immersed in a quaint rustic-elegant style setting, full of curious elements, from the piano to the tiled stove, from the collection of ceramic roosters to vintage and modern racing bicycles, a great passion of Chef and Patron Ugo Vairo. Gennaro Di Pace - Perno (CN)

The restaurant Gennaro Di Pace is located in Perno, a small village in the Langhe with a castle in a very panoramic position.

It is a charming place, desired by Gregorio Gitti, owner of the castle and producer of excellent wines, who convinced Gennaro to leave his Saracena, in the province of Cosenza, to reach the hills of Barolo.

The hexagonal sign takes up the motif on the label of the wines of the Cantina del Castello di Perno.

The interiors are developed on a single rectangular room, furnished in a minimalist style with some decisive touches of color, which houses contemporary works of art in rotation.

During the summer it is also set in the panoramic dehors.

A young and talented chef, Gennaro Di Pace has brought a breath of fresh air to the Langa region, creating a personalized cuisine with interesting ideas and intelligent references to his land of origin.

His menu is made up of a few dishes that, just from their description, arouse curiosity and the desire to taste them...

Mediterranean cuisine, sunny, with a few ingredients that are easy to recognize and that extra touch of acidity that gives the dishes freshness and energy.

The intimate and pleasant setting and the attentive service make for a perfect tasting experience.
