Ristorante Albergo Tre Re, run with passion and expertise by Roberto Marchello and his wife Federica, is located in the town of Castellamonte, the majolica capital, between Ivrea and Rivarolo Canavese, half an hour's drive from Turin. Legend has it that the name of the inn goes back to the time of Emperor Frederick I, known as Barbarossa, who, returning from Milan with the relics of the Three Kings, stopped at the inn, which has since been named in memory of the event. The main hall is classic and elegant, with parquet floors and wainscoting with large mirrors. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and pleasant. The tables, covered with rich linen, are set with light-colored chairs and decorated with centerpieces, some depicting the Three Kings, others the Queen.
