Timo Bistrot - Albenga (SV)

Image
Timo Bistrot is the restaurant of Casa del Monte, a magnificent new resort created from an ancient fortress on the slopes of the hill overlooking Albenga. The architects of the important four-year recovery project, which returns to the Riviera a piece of history that seemed lost, are the entrepreneur Nicola Trimboli and the architect Luigi Muratorio. "The Thyme Garden" is a vast terrace reserved for aperitifs at sunset. Among centuries-old olive trees and Mediterranean plants, the gaze is lost on the sea with the Island of Gallinara in the foreground. The exteriors represent the true heart of the venue: an open-air lounge, the place of choice for summer evenings immersed in a relaxed atmosphere. You can access it directly by lift from the Reception floor, first encountering the room with the bar counter, and, in front of this, the air-conditioned cellar, which in turn can host small convivial meetings. The visit to Timo Bistrot left us with the sensatio...

The Restaurant Bino is situated in a privileged position inside the Museo delle Ceramiche in Savona, in a very central area, in front of the buildings of the Episcopal Curia. As soon as you enter, you will find bright and modern rooms, the result of a tasteful renovation. Thanks to its privileged location, it is the ideal place to host artistic and cultural exhibitions, as well as events of interest and prestige, where cuisine and food culture are the protagonists. In the collection room at the back, Agenore Fabbri's restored work "The Birth of Ceramics" stands out, while numerous contemporary works have been placed on the shelves in the entrance area. The dining area consists of a long rectangular room followed by a smaller, more intimate room. The look is modern and informal, with a predominance of light colors and bright lights. With Ristorante Bino, chef Giuseppe Ricchebuono has also confirmed his entrepreneurial vision: the Museum of Ceramics in Sav...

Ristorante Vescovado - Noli (SV)

Image
Ristorante Vescovado, located in the splendid setting of the 15th-century Bishop's Palace in Noli, now a hotel and "Residenza d'Epoca", is Chef Giuseppe Ricchebuono's "fine dining" jewel. The restaurant is reached from the Noli waterfront by a panoramic elevator combined with a rack railway that leads to the reception hall shared with the hotel. During the cooler seasons, the gastronomic restaurant is located in the two indoor dining rooms, rich in history and character, which enjoy a splendid view. A very careful study of the interior design and a great sense of taste have created an environment with very pleasant contrasts between antique and hi-tech. In summer you can sit on the charming terrace overlooking the sea. Il Vescovado is undoubtedly one of the most stimulating addresses on the Ligurian Riviera for gourmets in search of flavors, tradition and imagination combined with impeccable technique. Giuseppe Ricchebuono is a well-trained chef an...

Bino restaurant enjoys a privileged position inside the Museum of Ceramics in Savona, in a very central area, just in front of the buildings of the Bishop's Curia. Thanks to its very special location, the restaurant lends itself to hosting artistic and cultural exhibitions, as well as events of interest and prestige in which cuisine and food culture are the protagonists. In the small room at the back stands out the restored work of Agenore Fabbri "La Nascita della Ceramica" (The Birth of Ceramics) while on the shelves of the entrance area have been placed many contemporary works. The menus designed by Giuseppe Ricchebuono and executed to perfection by Giacomo Faziola, Resident Chef, are stimulating and have no competitors in the area. Raw materials of superior quality are the basis of a gastronomic proposal that transcends the territorial boundaries of Liguria and Italy, leaving ample room for incursions into other cultures. The result is a modern and creative cuisi...
