Civico15 - Canelli (AT)

Image
The Civico15 restaurant, Enoteca Gastronomica is located in a panoramic position on the Canelli hill, overlooking its dehors on a quiet, well-redeveloped square. The place was originally a stable of the Gancia Castle, then a warehouse: the hand of Max, an appreciated architect, transformed it into an extremely welcoming wedding favor, full of personality. It is led by Max D'Assaro, architect, and Manuela Scavino, he in the dining room and she in the kitchen: with the contribution of mother Giusy and sister Ilaria, they create a family environment which is reflected in an absolutely friendly welcome full of attention. The interiors are characterized by beautiful majolica floors, wood paneling followed by brick walls and vaulted ceilings, designer tables and chairs, all different from each other. At Civico15 you can enjoy a tantalizing gastronomic experience, in a particularly pleasant environment, which fits the definition of a new generation chic bistro. Thanks...

Locanda Borgo Vecchio - Neive (CN)

Image
Locanda Borgo Vecchio is located in the heart of the beautiful old village of Neive, with an overall offer, gastronomic and hotel, of the highest level. The entrance to the Restaurant and the entrance to the Inn with panoramic suites are adjacent: to access the dining rooms one descends a short flight of steps or, from inside, by elevator. As soon as you cross the threshold you are struck by the understated elegance of the rooms, which are modern, warm and atmospheric, with a pleasant touch of rusticity. Prominent at the entrance are the vintage Vespa and the dazzling wall-mounted display cases with spirits. Just beyond the bar area is a panoramic sitting room with a privileged view of the beautiful hills of Neive. The rectangular-development dining room is furnished in warm pastel tones, with tables apareculated with checkered planks served by comfortable chairs with leather backs and seats. At Locanda Borgo Vecchio, we had a rich and stimulating gastronomic exper...

Celestino - Piobesi Torinese (TO)

Image
The Celestino restaurant and hotel is housed in a prestigious 15th-century house, one of the few preserved in the historic center of Piobesi Torinese, a town half an hour's drive from the Savoy capital. The restaurant has been run since 1904 by the Leggero family, which over the years has handed down the memory of typical Piedmontese cuisine and hospitality. This year it celebrates an impressive 120 years in business! The large main room has been completely renovated with a modern taste but the original barrel vaults dating back to 1458 are still present, plastered. The light colors are interrupted by the dove-gray central partition, the stone back wall and some very colorful paintings and posters. Great raw materials, a perfect mastery of cooking and beautiful plating for a traditional cuisine presented in a modern guise (with several gluten-free preparations), this is the summary of what we experienced at Celestino. A place run by the family for generations (we a...
