La Bursch - Oretto (BI)
The Bursch, family home of Milanese businesswoman Barbara Varese, is a country house and gourmet restaurant located a short distance from Biella. The original 17th century historical residence has been transformed into a house museum thanks to the careful conservative restoration of a large complex of interconnected stone buildings surrounded by a private park overlooking the Cervo stream. Bursch means "house" in the ancient Walser dialect of the Germanic people who once inhabited Valsesia. Crossing the threshold, you will be immersed in an atmosphere of strong personality, immersing yourself in rooms filled with collections of objects and antique furniture.
