Officine del Cibo - Sarzana (SP)

Image
Officine del Cibo, a contemporary pizza gastronomic project by Chef Giacomo Devoto of Locanda de' Banchieri, is based in Sarzana, in the middle of Lunigiana. The venue, which has ample parking facilities, is a modern building that is easy to reach coming from the highway exit. The interior is airy and comfortable, with the rooms located just beyond the bar and bakery counters. The furnishings play on colorful and witty details. An award-winning gourmet pizzeria, Officine del Cibo is a must-visit stop for sampling contemporary pizza of absolute quality. Here you'll find the flavors of Ligurian tradition paired with true Neapolitan pizza, offered both in its most classic liveries and with modern, ever-evolving doughs and baking cuts, including gluten-free. A winning formula that is the fruit of the encounter between the passion and technique of Gianmarco Ferrandi and the food culture of Giacomo Devoto. There is good drinking, with the possibility of both beer and wine pairi...

SP 143 Pizzeria Contemporanea - Orbassano (TO)

Image
SP 143 is the contemporary Pizzeria born under the auspices of Credenza Group, built right next to RistOrto Casa Format in the countryside of Orbassano, a stone's throw from Turin. The entrance is occupied by the reception desk, the "Pantry" shelves with the display of products for sale (all the canned goods and most of the raw materials you will find in your pizzas), the bakery area, and, below the staircase, the tap beers and the temperature-controlled display case with an amazing selection of cheeses and sausages. A hi-tech iron staircase will lead you to the upper dining room, well furnished in Credenza Group's usual style, with designer pieces, natural colors and tasteful color combinations. All interior furnishings were curated, as with the Format Home RistOrto, by Format Progetti Abitativi. SP 143 is a trendy place both for its location and its cozy and convivial spaces. You will enjoy pizzas, focaccias and farinata of the highest quality, with doughs of...

Sestogusto - Torino

Image
Massimiliano Prete's Pizzeria Sestogusto is doubling down in Turin. We visited the new location on Via Stampatori, right in the center of the city, a stone's throw from Via Garibaldi. The exteriors overlook a pedestrian area. Once inside, the rooms impress with their design and comfortable setting. The new Pizzeria is divided into a succession of pleasantly colored, tastefully furnished small rooms with designer tables, sofas and chairs. Pizzeria Sestogusto, like its twin on Via Mazzini, is a taste laboratory where food culture is made by enthusiastically and passionately recounting the raw materials and the processes they undergo. The pizzas are small masterpieces of taste, digestibility and structure, full of exciting variations, with a maniacal search for excellence. Let us borrow two illustrious quotes that tell exactly what we found: "I put the pizza under my teeth and the sensation was that of the unmatched. It has an absolute meltiness. It enters the mouth and...
