Il Moncalvo Restaurant is located in the historic center of Acqui Terme between the evocative Romanesque walls of the Santa Maria Abbey. The previous restaurant in Terzo d'Acqui owned by Angela Gervino and Filippo Tirrì boasted the same name dedicated to the 16th century painter Guglielmo Caccia known as Moncalvo, who kept it after realizing that the new location overlooked a street named after Moncalvo. The interiors of the restaurant are very classic, warm and welcoming, tastefully furnished. At the restaurant we appreciated solid, well-finished local cuisine served in a warm and welcoming environment. Angela Gervino's cuisine stands out for the quality and freshness of the raw materials and the expertise in treating them. We drank very well, thanks to the competence and taste of the owner Filippo Tirrì, a true enthusiast who will infect you with his genuine enthusiasm.
