The Guarini is a brand new trendy restaurant definitely destined for success, and how much closer to a "New York" architectural concept we can think for a city a little "plastered" like Turin. The restaurant proposes a Piedmontese inspired cuisine that gradually moves away from the roots and comes to amaze without ever falling into banality or slavish imitation. The Guarini is also an afterwork proposal, to be able to even just sip a glass of wine chosen from the cellars of great Piedmontese producers, or a glass of Turin Vermouth, which is served on tap here, or even a jug of the excellent craft beers of Soralamà maybe accompanying them with a small tasting of delicious Tapas. The Osteria La Torre, managed by Marco Falco and his family, is located in the center of Cherasco in a quiet and secluded position. This is a sure address of excellent Langhe cuisine with a strong family and home style, which we highly recommend to gourmets in search of typicality. The philosophy of Marco Falco is to rediscover the flavors of tradition, adding a touch of imagination to each new creation: you will find Piedmontese dishes prepared with strictly zero-km raw materials, found at small farms and local farms, or directly at the family garden. Faithful to the philosophy of not looking at the restaurants' reputation but at the quality of their cuisine, here we are in a "old way" country restaurant with the vast dining room set up for large numbers on holidays and the menu recited by word of mouth: a no-frills place, but well-known to gourmets. The Fungo Reale, which is also a Hotel, is a well-known and appreciated reality in Valle Stura and in the Cuneo area, immersed in a beautiful landscape characterized by chestnut woods where there are abundant mushrooms.
