The Locanda de' Banchieri Restaurant is an ancient patrician home in a magnificent hillside location overlooking terraces planted with olive trees and the vast panorama that stretches from Versilia to the foothills of the Sarzana foothills of Liguria. Sarzanese Chef Giacomo Devoto located and purchased it in 2017 to make it the home of his territory-linked, "conscious" and truly "sustainable" (an overused word today) cuisine, with a Farm operating on 35 thousand square meters of land in close synergy with the Restaurant. His elegant, signature cuisine is certainly gastronomic, but also very relatable to the elements of the land. Each dish is composed of a few elements, is dressed in herbs, flowers and vegetables, uses no thickeners, and is therefore light and digestible.
