Antica Trattoria Cirio - Torino

Image
The ancient Trattoria Cirio is located in Turin in a beautiful area between the Po river and the hill in rooms rethought with the furnishings and atmospheres of the old Piedmontese trattorias. At the entrance, the inevitable solid wood serving counter, overlooking the first room furnished with boiserie and old-fashioned wallpaper. The second rectangular dining room has wooden floors and lighting entrusted to old -style suspension lamps. We met Federico Allegri at his beginnings as Chef, when he opened his restaurant in Rivoli, at the gates of Turin. We find him today, again in Turin, after a long international path that transformed him into an entrepreneur. His personal vision of modern cuisine is to tie it to classic recipes from all over the world: and here is explained, in the menu of its local, the French Oignon and the English pot pye, proposed alongside great classics of the Piedmontese and Turin tradition... Trattoria Visconti - Ambivere (BG)

Image
The Trattoria Visconti is an intimate and welcoming restaurant located in the historical center of Ambivere, a small town a few kilometers from Bergamo. The Regione Lombardia (Lombardy Region) has recognized the Trattoria Visconti as a "Historical Establishment"; the Visconti family has been directly managing it for three generations, taking care to model tradition with the evolution of taste. The manor house is located next to the ancient medieval tower, in front of which there is a well-kept vegetable garden flanked by a large gravel area where parking is convenient. The Trattoria Visconti is a founder and member of the Premiate Trattorie Italiane. Once inside the gate, the front door opens right next to the hedges that border the garden. From the arched doorway, through the reception hall, you enter the restaurant. They are spacious and well-kept, full of warmth and atmosphere, with ochre and cream tiled floors, light-colored walls and many niches and cup...

Luna - Sinio (CN)

Image
Ristorante Luna is a typical Langa trattoria recently taken over by partners Mirco Mollo and Maurizio Paglierino, both of whom have previous experience in the restaurant business. The interior is characterized by a crackling fireplace and wood furnishings. Customers can enjoy the two upper rooms we photographed, complemented by a very large lounge downstairs. Ristorante Luna is a fine restaurant in the Langhe, with a cuisine that is both modern and traditional, and that fascinates from the moment you read the menu, thanks to the amusing names of the dishes. During the tasting you will be surprised by the creativity of many combinations and you will be convinced by the quality of the preparation. The wine list is very good, thanks to the excellent cellar that Vittorio Belrosso runs with passion. Do you want to post your comment? Make yourself the Critic on the Blog! Post your comment:
