Archè is the new restaurant of Dennis Cesco, a very talented young chef whom we have been following since his time at Villa d'Amelia. The location is in Piobesi d'Alba, in a building with very modern forms that will prove to be even more surprising inside. Step through the front gate and you will be faced with a dazzling glass veranda surrounded by a lovely artificial turf garden, which hosts outdoor tables in summer. Great design for the interior as well, with lots of wood, including on the walls. DaMà Sentiero Restaurant is the fine dining concept of the magnificent Relais Villa d'Amelia. "Sentiero" translates to "path". The location is very picturesque, in a panoramic position on the Langa hills, just a few minutes drive from Alba. The entrance is independent, located directly on the hotel's driveway. The intimate and relaxing atmosphere predisposes to the tasting of fine food with a wonderful view of the Langa hills. The furnishings are refined and tasteful, with elegant dark parquet floors, fabrics draped over the skylights and effective lighting. The large windows overlooking the beautiful landscape of the Langhe constitute a further element of distinction and appeal. Chef Dennis Cesco, former sous-chef of Damiano Nigro, has taken great care not to propose the more personal dishes, which would have become a simple copy, instead starting his own path that arouses pure enthusiasm in us and in which we can glimpse the fabric of the champion.
