Convivium

Located in Bastia, not far from Albenga, OrtOsteria René is the new "jewel" of BioVio, a modern osteria created with the intention of continuing the family tradition of hospitality and sharing the table, passing on the most authentic peasant recipes by improving the products of the Albenga hinterland. The name is a tribute to grandfather René, who in the 90's created Il Torchietto, a very successful pizzeria-restaurant. The cozy and atmospheric interiors show great taste in the combination of materials (stone, wood and brick) and in the choice of furnishings and lighting. The main dining room continues at the back with a small room with a "table d'hôte" overlooking the glassed-in kitchen. A floor-to-ceiling glass panel reveals the splendid small wine cellar, accessed by a ladder with a wrought-iron gate.
