Nathan, Osteria di Mare - Giovinazzo (BA)

Image
Nathan, Osteria di Mare is located on the Marina Italiana promenade of Giovinazzo, in a privileged position with a panoramic view up to the characteristic small port of the ancient village of Giovinazzo. The exteriors evoke the essentiality and charm of spontaneous maritime architecture, almost reminiscent of the bow of a small boat. The two dining rooms stand out for a concept that combines the simplicity of the ancient coastal taverns with a sober, fresh and contemporary elegance Francesco Caricola's cuisine is a true tribute to the purity of the Adriatic fish heritage, expressed through a wise and rigorous culinary philosophy, aimed at the absolute exaltation of the raw material. Li Jalantuùmene restaurant overlooks the characteristic Piazza de' Galganis, a sixteenth-century gem in the heart of the historic center of Monte Sant'Angelo, in the heart of the Gargano Park. The external walls with portions of light stone and the clean lines of the building integrate perfectly with the surrounding whiteness of the Junno district. The name of the restaurant, which in dialect means "The Gentlemen", is a true declaration of intent: to recall the elegance, honesty and elegance of times gone by, applying them to hospitality and service. Once you cross the threshold, the restaurant reveals its nature as a "home" characterized by a romantic and intimate atmosphere. Ristorante Violetta - Calamandrana (AT)

Image
The Violetta restaurant, born in the 1960s, takes its name from the ancient "Ca d'Viuletta", the house where agricultural carts were built. A wagon from the Premiata Fabbrica is still on display in the entrance courtyard. Attached to the house was a small grocery store and a neighborhood bar. Once the shop closed, the Lovisolo family transformed the bar first into a trattoria and finally into the current location, a true milestone in the area. The rectangular dining room is clean and welcoming. The pleasantly rustic environment is perfect for a place that has always been known for the quality of its strictly local cuisine. The Violetta restaurant has always been a precious address for excellent local cuisine enhanced by genuine and friendly service. Simple dishes cooked and served with love! Le Due Lanterne is based in Nizza Monferrato on the main square of the Asti town. It is a historic establishment, which has served generations of gourmets, with new management which has immediately earned a solid reputation. Once you cross the threshold, you will find a welcoming and familiar environment, furnished with style and elegance. With the new management of Andrea Cavallo and Valentina Torello the gastronomic offer has been embellished and modernised, and the internal rooms have also been the subject of a successful restyling. We eat well and drink well. The hand of the Chef, coming from extremely qualified kitchens, works with equal skill in both fish and meat preparations, paying the utmost attention to the excellence of the raw materials and always leaving traditional classics on the menu that cannot be missing in this area. Having introduced numerous fish dishes on the menu is an intelligent choice that can capture the attention of those looking for so...

The Real Castello di Verduno, Restaurant and Hotel, enjoys a splendid position that allows the view to range from the Langhe and Roero to the Alps. We are in a magnificent 16th century castle, completely restored in subsequent phases. Once through the large solid wood door, you will enter a vast room with high frescoed ceilings, used as a lounge and reception, which overlooks the well-kept garden in front. The restaurant is divided into two eighteenth-century rooms of great character, characterized by antique terracotta floors, fireplaces and mirrors, very high ceilings and light salmon and burgundy colored walls. Osteria Moderna - Chiavari (GE)

Image
Osteria Moderna is located in Chiavari, right in the center, under the porticoes of Via Vittorio Veneto, populated with ancient shops. It is managed by a family, the Carannantes, coming from Friuli and moving to Liguria for twenty years now. Grandma Michela, a life behind the stove, was the example for her grandson Mattia, who today is the chef and patron of this excellent cuisine establishment. Outside, under the arcades, there are a few tables. Inside you will find a single rectangular room with two parallel rows of tables, for a limited number of seats as per the philosophy of the restaurant, which focuses on quality and not numbers. Mattia Carannante works in the kitchen. He graduated from the hotel management school in Camogli and trained in grandmother Michela's kitchen when she managed the Bagni Riviera di Lavagna. His help is Simone. The management of the new restaurant is family-run, with father Vincenzo, mother Sabrina and aunt Giulia taking care of the ...

Ristorante Il Moncalvo - Acqui Terme (AL)

Image
Il Moncalvo Restaurant is located in the historic center of Acqui Terme between the evocative Romanesque walls of the Santa Maria Abbey. The previous restaurant in Terzo d'Acqui owned by Angela Gervino and Filippo Tirrì boasted the same name dedicated to the 16th century painter Guglielmo Caccia known as Moncalvo, who kept it after realizing that the new location overlooked a street named after Moncalvo. Osteria della Villa - Castellengo (BI)

Image
The Osteria della Villa is located in Castellengo, a historic crossroads at the foot of the Biella mountains. The location is an old house, originally used as the village emporium and grocery store, and later as a tavern. Skillful conservative renovation work has restored it to its original charm without altering the layout of the small rooms into which the interior is divided. At Osteria della Villa you can choose between a seafood menu and a land menu, both prepared with the use of quality raw materials and offered at a low, well-centered price. Elion Keci, an old and dear acquaintance of ours, boasts a high level of experience with Maurilio Garola at Campamac, which was followed by running the kitchens of the Rotary Club of Biella. An expert and great lover of his work, he knows how to handle fish and meats with equal skill, with an eye to typical local specialties. Do you want to post your comment? La Duja - Ciriè (TO)

Image
La Duja, Restaurant and Enoteca, is based in the center of Ciriè just a few minutes' drive from Turin. Its name in Piedmontese has the meaning of "vase, container, vessel, jar." The restaurant is warm and cozy, with a beautiful wood plank floor and pastel-colored walls with exposed brick portions. Beyond the entrance is the "Green Room," ideal for banquets, birthday dinners and celebrations. The "Red Room," with a fireplace and soft lighting, is a room with character. "Modern as it used to be," reads the motto of a retro-style advertising poster hanging on the wall: this is the philosophy that inspires the restaurant. La Duja is an excellent address for traditional cuisine in a well-kept, informal setting with warm "old-fashioned trattoria" style furnishings. The cuisine of Loris Basso - a well-trained chef with a personal passion for the Orient - knows how to treat classic recipes with that contemporary touch that...
