Locanda La Gemella is the new Modern Osteria owned by Cantina Viberti and recently opened in the center of Barolo. The name is a dedication to Maria, a twin by birth and a fundamental woman in the company, who has been the cook for 47 years in the other historical Buon Padre Restaurant belonging to the Viberti family. The tasteful interiors were conceived with the intention of bringing a touch of internationality to Barolo. La Gemella is first and foremost a modern "lady" osteria, but also a different and unusual place, with new spaces shaped to reflect the changes, tastes and needs of customers. The kitchen has a firm and sure hand, with a range of proposals that will fully satisfy every true gourmet. The dishes on the menu are not only local, but also regional.
