The name "Arburent" for the new "Osteria di Confine" by Federico Costa is a choice that encompasses the philosophy of the restaurant: an Osteria that celebrates the beauty of borders, understood not as separation, but as a union of traditions and flavors, and the multiple family roots of the Chef, who has grandparents from Val Borbera, Tortona, Lombardy and Veneto. The interiors of the venue are the result of a careful, radical renovation of the pre-existing hairdressing salon. The result is warm, welcoming and full of character, with bold but restful colours. Arburent is a pleasant modern tavern with a new generation concept. The cuisine of its Chef and owner Federico Costa is based on selected ingredients, seasonality and attention to detail. La Cucina della Darbia is the gastronomic restaurant of La Darbia, one of the most appealing locations on Lake Orta, of which lemilleUnanotte publishes a rich Reportage.
You will leave the car in the gravel parking lot in front of the entrance arch and then walk the beautifully decorated pathway through the flowerbeds of the garden.


La Cucina della Darbia stands as a first-rate Piedmontese gastronomic reality, with a cuisine of great interest served in an environment of refined but not ostentatious elegance, like a true Maison de Campagne.
We have known Chef Matteo Monfrinotti for years, and we have appreciated his professional evolution: his cuisine is now mature, inspired by the territory but with a pinch of audacity.
