Acquamatta, Green Soul Restaurant, is located among the paddy fields of Lomellina, inside a beautifully restored 1827 mill, surrounded by the protected landscape of the ZPS (Zona di Protezione Speciale delle Risaie Lomelline).
The windows of the dining rooms overlook the jump of the spring waters of the Roggia Raina, which provide the restaurant with the heat and electricity needed to heat and cool the rooms. The second room is dominated by a large wooden chest of drawers displaying different types of pasta visible from the glass fronts of the drawers.
The rustic and informal-chic environment is of great charm and suggestion and the cuisine, operated by a young and motivated chef, totally keeps its promises. The team formed by Andréia Saito, perfect hostess, and Alessandro Cerutti in the kitchen, will reserve you an experience of taste and hospitality to remember.
The restaurant is certainly worth a special trip, planning a restful digression from the main traffic routes, among rice fields of great beauty.
