The restaurant Da U Titti enjoys a delightful location in a medieval village of Imperia of extraordinary beauty that is part of the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The only small room is a cozy bijou tastefully decorated, with stone floor and vaulted ceiling.
Among the many details we noticed the colorful soundproofing panels, hanging on the walls like paintings, the chandeliers made with bicycle spoke circles and the small window overlooking the ancient walls under the arch at floor level.
Da U Titti is definitely one of the best tables in western Liguria.
It is a place where everything runs perfectly, from the perfectly synchronized organization of the dining room and kitchen to the excellence of the dishes created by a Chef with an important curriculum.
Chiara in the dining room is a delightful hostess, but it is all the staff, under her careful guidance, who know how to move with grace and attention.
Riccardo in the kitchen shows off masterful preparations that stand out for the wisdom of combinations, for the quality of raw materials and the apparent simplicity of each dish.
The clear and precise flavors are those of an evolved cuisine, modern and personal, made of clear ideas and the necessary expertise in putting them into action.
Thanks to the choices made by Chiara, who is also a Sommelier, we had a divine drink, with a food and wine pairing of great depth, harmony and elegance: a sequence of "goodies" carefully selected from producers all over Italy, from small local producers to big names, in order to find the best proposals to exalt our sense of smell and palate.
