Il Gallo della Checca - Ranzo (IM)

Il Gallo della Checca, a truffle restaurant with its own Tartufaia as well as an osteria and wine shop since 1986, is located in Ranzo, a small inland Ligurian village on the border with Piedmont. One does not arrive here by accident, but because of the gastronomic value of the address, which is certainly worth a special detour. As you cross the threshold of the entrance, you will find yourself immersed in a quaint rustic-elegant style setting, full of curious elements, from the piano to the tiled stove, from the collection of ceramic roosters to vintage and modern racing bicycles, a great passion of Chef and Patron Ugo Vairo. Valli di Lanzo - Ceres (TO)

Ristorante Albergo Valli di Lanzo is the home of Chef Francesco Eblovi, who moved to his home valleys after closing the unforgettable "Nuovo Carretto" with a precise, thoughtful and enthusiastic life choice.

The restaurant (whose sign says Ristourànt Valàdess at Lanss con Oubèrgi) overlooks a beautiful stone-paved pedestrian street in the center of the village of Ceres, a small mountain community in the heart of the Valli di Lanzo, three-quarters of an hour's drive from Turin.

The building has been tastefully renovated, creating a warm and personal environment that includes a small entrance hall with a bar area, a beautiful dining room, and a patio.

Francesco Eblovi's cuisine is absolutely traditional, erudite and thick, founded on research and respect for the best raw materials, but above all on the rediscovery and enhancement of forgotten recipes. He follows a true philosophy of life that abhors the fashions of the moment and uniformed raw materials, favoring instead what the land can offer, perhaps even through the oral tradition that passes from the old wise men of the village.
In love with his land, Francesco follows his convictions with firmness, serenity and decision.
