OrtOsteria René - Bastia (SV)

Located in Bastia, a very short distance from Albenga, the OrtOsteria René is the modern tavern created by BioVio with the aim of continuing the family tradition of hospitality and sharing the table and of passing on the most authentic peasant recipes through the valorisation of the products of the Albenga hinterland. The name OrtOsteria, a tribute to grandfather René, wants to remember the importance that the home garden had for every peasant family, from where the first fruits harvested were the true richness of the daily recipes. Le Piemontesine - Igliano (CN)

Le Piemontesine, a hotel and restaurant, is located in Igliano, a tiny village in Alta Langa where the owners' great-grandparents Jérôme and Charlotte lived.

The Migottos have returned here from Paris, no less! He has worked his way up there working in some of the most distinguished restaurants, even 3 Michelin stars; she has been in the kitchen and dining room of major French resorts.

The Hotel is a new building erected on the ruins of an irretrievable rustic house, respectful of the aesthetic canons of the area, very bright thanks to a multiplicity of arched windows, and well cared for down to the smallest detail.

The restaurant is entered from the hotel lobby, which is large, airy and decorated in light hues.

The rectangular-plan dining room overlooks the garden, where aperitifs are served when the weather permits.

At Piemontesine you will experience the successful meeting of two cuisines, the French one well recognizable for its cooking techniques and the use of some typical ingredients, the Piedmontese one for the right presence of dishes hooked on local tradition.
Chef Jérôme Migotto possesses a particularly happy hand, and in his dishes you will find some tasty Mediterranean and Provençal elements that make them particularly sunny.
