Arburent, Osteria di Confine - Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL)

The name "Arburent" for the new "Osteria di Confine" by Federico Costa is a choice that encompasses the philosophy of the restaurant: an Osteria that celebrates the beauty of borders, understood not as separation, but as a union of traditions and flavors, and the multiple family roots of the Chef, who has grandparents from Val Borbera, Tortona, Lombardy and Veneto. The interiors of the venue are the result of a careful, radical renovation of the pre-existing hairdressing salon. The result is warm, welcoming and full of character, with bold but restful colours. Arburent is a pleasant modern tavern with a new generation concept. The cuisine of its Chef and owner Federico Costa is based on selected ingredients, seasonality and attention to detail. La Pintadera - Millesimo (SV)

La Pintadera is based in Millesimo, in a quiet little square recently redeveloped with porphyry cube paving.

Chef Massimiliano Torterolo, already awarded a star right here in town, opened a signature delicatessen there with his wife Francesca, which initially provided nothing more than take-out.

Pintadera is a Sardinian name, in honor of Francesca's origins, for a circular-shaped stone archaeological find with a geometric design, found in very ancient settlements from the Nuragic period, which some believe was among the earliest lunar calendars, and others instead identify as a stamp for branding bread, somewhat like that of the Testaroli, to bring good luck to food.

La Pintadera is a very "sui generis" reality: it is not only a Gastronomy, it is certainly a Bottega of artisan excellence in the true sense of the word, and it is also, by reservation only, a tiny gourmet destination for 2/4 people (which may be a dozen soon) in which to taste an amazing signature cuisine.

Chef Massimiliano Torterolo, who in the recent past was awarded a Michelin Star in a small and defiladed town like Millesimo, is a true talent: from the recovery of almost lost recipes, from certain combinations and certain cooking, the hand of the ace shines through.

Massimiliano's cooking places a great deal of attention on the roundness of the dishes brought by the combination and dosage of acidic, sweet, crunchy and botanical components (the use of sprouts and herbs that have eaten the grazing cattle, for example).

La Pintadera's formula allows you to bring to your home simple gastronomic dishes executed at the state of the art, or to devote a lunch break to the discovery of some light but intriguing dishes, or, but only after proper reservation, to spend a gourmet evening worth remembering...

This is food culture.

It is drinking wonderfully, thanks to the pairing choices wisely made by Francesca, wife of the Chef.
