The Moda Venue restaurant is housed in the beautifully restored rooms of Palazzo Martinengo, a 17th century noble residence in Monforte d'Alba, the land of Barolo, in the heart of the Langhe.
As soon as you enter, you are immersed in an atmosphere of the highest quality, made up of rooms on several levels connected by staircases and a crystal elevator, with part of the floors made of walkable glass surfaces and a design rich in light effects.
The conservative restoration, which has left most of the stone ceilings and walls exposed, is in excellent taste, thanks to the skillful combination of high quality materials.
The splendid terrace, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, embellished with a fountain of Palladian origin, overlooks the surrounding Langa hills and the ancient village of Monforte d'Alba.
The restaurant Moda Venue is characterized by a cuisine with a fresh personality that, in a Langhe context such as Monforte d'Alba, has sought to flank traditional dishes with a series of contemporary preparations of markedly Latino inspiration, thanks to the inspired hand of the young chef Francesco Costantini.
The result, original and surprising, deserves the highest attention.
The success of a multi-regional experience of measured, pleasing eccentricity is enhanced by the atmospheric setting and the attentive, efficient service.
The drinks are very good, thanks to a dynamic and well-managed cantina.
