Locanda dell'Olmo - Bosco Marengo (AL)

Locanda dell'Olmo is located in the small village of Bosco Marengo, in the central square, adorned by a fountain.
Crossing the threshold, you enter a first room with a bar.
Just beyond is the main dining room. The ambiance is rustic, neat, and pleasant, with terracotta tile floors, a few well-spaced tables, and traditional wooden chairs with upholstered seats.
The lighting is provided by chandeliers and wall sconces; in a corner at the back of the room, an arte povera sideboard stands out.
A trattoria of substance, the Locanda dell'Olmo offers a simple and genuine cuisine, firmly rooted in tradition.
Some dishes are prepared with products from the nearby Liguria, especially in summer.
In addition to the cuisine, we liked the informal atmosphere and the warm welcome, which make customers feel at home.
As the Bondi's are also producers of quality wines, it is definitely worth tasting some labels from the family vineyards.
