Restaurant Da U Titti enjoys a delightful location in an extraordinarily beautiful medieval village of Imperia that is on the list of Italy's Most Beautiful Villages.
Crossing the threshold, you will find a small entrance hall with a checkroom, which is overlooked by the door to the kitchen. The only small room is a cozy room tastefully furnished with a stone floor and vaulted ceiling. Among the many details we noticed the colorful soundproofing panels hanging on the walls like pictures, the chandeliers made from bicycle spoke rims, and the small window with a view of the ancient walls under the floor-level arch.
Da U Titti is definitely one of the best tables in western Liguria. It is a place where everything runs perfectly, from the perfectly synchronized organization of the dining room and kitchen to the excellence of the dishes created by a Chef with an important resume. Chiara in the dining room is a delightful hostess who moves with grace and attention, and with her her collaborator Fabio Fossati.
Riccardo in the kitchen shows off masterful preparations that are distinguished by the wisdom of the combinations, the quality of the raw materials and the apparent simplicity of each dish in which the individual ingredients are always perfectly recognizable.
The clean and precise flavors are those of an evolved, modern and personal cuisine, made up of clear ideas and the necessary expertise in putting them into action. Thanks to the choices of Chiara, who is also Sommelier, we drank divinely, with a fanciful pairing made up of "goodies" expertly fished from small realities, local and otherwise, for the purpose of enhancing the sense of smell and palate...
