Arburent, Osteria di Confine - Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL)

The name "Arburent" for the new "Osteria di Confine" by Federico Costa is a choice that encompasses the philosophy of the restaurant: an Osteria that celebrates the beauty of borders, understood not as separation, but as a union of traditions and flavors, and the multiple family roots of the Chef, who has grandparents from Val Borbera, Tortona, Lombardy and Veneto. The interiors of the venue are the result of a careful, radical renovation of the pre-existing hairdressing salon. The result is warm, welcoming and full of character, with bold but restful colours. Arburent is a pleasant modern tavern with a new generation concept. The cuisine of its Chef and owner Federico Costa is based on selected ingredients, seasonality and attention to detail. Osteria Santa Maria - Abbiategrasso (MI)

Osteria Santa Maria, run by a young couple, is based in Abbiategrasso in a late 19th-century building in the historic center. Stepping through the entrance, you will be greeted by a warm and characterful environment, with a bar area, reception desk, and a small open kitchen window.
The two romantic small rooms you will sit in have exposed beams and bricks. Very scenic is the lighting entrusted to suspended circular elements.
Osteria Santa Maria stands out and we like it because of the ambience, the line of cuisine and the young management, which knows how to transmit passion and enthusiasm. Mirco Polli is a chef with a beautiful hand who knows how to treat the historical recipes of the restaurant at their best with some wise contemporary touches.
His cuisine is enriched with each of our visits by some new preparation, sometimes inspired by recipes from other regions, and always linked to the seasonality of the products, selected and prepared with so much care and refined technique. There is good drinking, thanks to Alisia's expertise and intuition for pairings.
