Guarini Restaurant is the new concept born from the initiative of Gianluca Poggio, Enrique Jiménez and Roberto Ertola based in Turin's central area, a stone's throw from Porta Nuova train station.
Its name is the first tribute to Guarino Guarini, a monk, mathematician, philosopher and architect who lived in the 1600s and spent the last years of his life in the Savoy capital in the service of the Savoy family, creating some of the jewels of Turin's Baroque architecture.
From the moment you enter you will be fascinated by the scenic beauty of the rooms accompanied by intelligent usability.
It is precisely the designer interiors and their many quotations that constitute the second tribute to Guarino Guarini, in an effort to introduce him to the increasing number of Italian and foreign visitors to the Piedmontese capital.
Each furnishing element is the result of a careful and meticulous stylistic project by the Lamatilde studio.
Guarini is a trendy and successful eatery, as close to a "New York" architectural concept as one can think of for a somewhat "congealed" city like Turin.
The restaurant offers Piedmontese-inspired cuisine with a few digressions from its roots.
Chef Luca Varone, trained in the kitchens of Casa Vicina and Condividere, has brought to the cuisine solidity and simplicity but also character, elegance and personality.
The contemporary design interiors, with studied references to the famous Guarini archiect, are an additional must that make the restaurant unmissable.
