Arburent, Osteria di Confine - Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL)

The name "Arburent" for the new "Osteria di Confine" by Federico Costa is a choice that encompasses the philosophy of the restaurant: an Osteria that celebrates the beauty of borders, understood not as separation, but as a union of traditions and flavors, and the multiple family roots of the Chef, who has grandparents from Val Borbera, Tortona, Lombardy and Veneto. The interiors of the venue are the result of a careful, radical renovation of the pre-existing hairdressing salon. The result is warm, welcoming and full of character, with bold but restful colours. Arburent is a pleasant modern tavern with a new generation concept. The cuisine of its Chef and owner Federico Costa is based on selected ingredients, seasonality and attention to detail. Osteria Moderna - Chiavari (GE)

Osteria Moderna is located in Chiavari, right in the center, under the porticoes of Via Vittorio Veneto, populated with ancient shops.
It is managed by a family, the Carannantes, coming from Friuli and moving to Liguria for twenty years now. Grandma Michela, a life behind the stove, was the example for her grandson Mattia, who today is the chef and patron of this excellent cuisine establishment.
Outside, under the arcades, there are a few tables. Inside you will find a single rectangular room with two parallel rows of tables, for a limited number of seats as per the philosophy of the restaurant, which focuses on quality and not numbers.
Mattia Carannante works in the kitchen. He graduated from the hotel management school in Camogli and trained in grandmother Michela's kitchen when she managed the Bagni Riviera di Lavagna. His help is Simone.
The management of the new restaurant is family-run, with father Vincenzo, mother Sabrina and aunt Giulia taking care of the service.
The Osteria Moderna impressed us with its offering of high quality cuisine, both land and sea, centered on preparations with a strong personality in which the excellence of the raw materials and the harmony of the combinations always stand out.
Chef Mattia has ideas, imagination and a good hand.
