Velvet Bistrò Lounge is located in Bordighera, a stone's throw from the sea. It has always been a trendy place, captivating for its "cosy" and relaxing atmosphere, for its cocktails and aperitifs. Under the management of Licia Casella, an infallible flair for spotting talent in the kitchen, the restaurant has progressively enriched its image with a growing profile which today has reached its peak with the presence of a champion like Massimo Viglietti. At the entrance, a beautiful serving counter, the refrigerated wine cellar and a conversation corner with an old-fashioned leather sofa introduce an environment of refined relaxation. Lo Chef italiano Luca Dell’Agnola, che ha lavorato anche in Islanda, si distingue per la sua rigorosa filosofia ispirata alla sostenibilità e alla lotta agli sprechi, destreggiandosi con grande sicurezza fra le culture svedese, Sami e finlandese.
La sua cucina predilige i prodotti bio a km zero, le pregiate carni della Svezia settentrionale, i frutti di bosco locali e i germogli di propria produzione, trattando con tecnica e sensibilità mediterranea gli ingredienti tipicamente artici che troverete in un menu ricco di suggestioni.

Italian Chef Luca Dell’Agnola @dellagnolaluca who also gained experience in Iceland, is distinguished by his rigorous philosophy centered on sustainability and zero waste, skillfully navigating the Swedish, Sami, and Finnish cultures.
His cooking prioritizes organic, farm-to-table products, premium northern Swedish meats, local wild berries, and home-grown microgreens. He treats typically Arctic ingredients with Mediterranean technique and sensibility, resulting in a menu rich with evocative flavors.
We have awarded Camp Ripan the Convivium Award for Excellence for the quality of its cuisine and its hospitality.
