Arburent, Osteria di Confine - Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL)

The name "Arburent" for the new "Osteria di Confine" by Federico Costa is a choice that encompasses the philosophy of the restaurant: an Osteria that celebrates the beauty of borders, understood not as separation, but as a union of traditions and flavors, and the multiple family roots of the Chef, who has grandparents from Val Borbera, Tortona, Lombardy and Veneto. The interiors of the venue are the result of a careful, radical renovation of the pre-existing hairdressing salon. The result is warm, welcoming and full of character, with bold but restful colours. Arburent is a pleasant modern tavern with a new generation concept. The cuisine of its Chef and owner Federico Costa is based on selected ingredients, seasonality and attention to detail. Alessandro Mecca Al Castello - Grinzane Cavour (CN)

The Al Castello restaurant, now in the hands of renowned chef Alessandro Mecca, is located inside the splendid Grinzane Cavour Castle, a beautifully preserved 13th-century fortress with an imposing rectangular plan, which also houses the Piedmont Regional Wine Cellar Cavour and the Langhe Museum with Cavourian memorabilia.

The castle is located in a panoramic position, with a wonderful viewpoint surrounded by hills and vineyards.

Crossing the walls, one reaches the courtyard overlooking the restaurant and cafeteria.

The restaurant's large dining room is characterized by its old terracotta floors, stone walls, beautiful wooden coffered ceilings and large round tables that are well spaced.

At Alessandro Mecca's Ristorante al Castello we tasted excellent, elegant, measured and balanced dishes in an impressive setting.
We appreciate Alessandro Mecca's technique, attention to preparation, choice of raw materials and taste for presentation.
