Trattoria Guallina - Mortara (PV)
The Trattoria Guallina is immersed in the greenery of the Lomellina, surrounded by acacias and elder trees, far from the traffic and hustle and bustle of the city, but at the same time just a few kilometers from Mortara and easily accessible from the Gropello Cairoli exit of the Milan-Genoa highway.
The rooms, divided into two small family-style rooms, are pleasantly rustic and traditional, and convey a sense of measured and composed elegance. Grey tiled floors, yellow painted walls, classic old-fashioned chairs, ceilings decorated with wooden ribs, poor art furniture and a pellet stove strategically placed next to the entrance knob are the distinguishing features of the décor.
The Trattoria Guallina has always offered a cuisine closely tied to the territory and to tradition, respecting seasonality and in constant search of quality, with preparations just lightened to meet modern tastes.
The specialty of the house is the goose, to which many dishes almost introvabli elsewhere are dedicated.
