Ristorante Albergo Tre Re, run with passion and expertise by Roberto Marchello and his wife Federica, is located in the town of Castellamonte, the majolica capital, between Ivrea and Rivarolo Canavese, half an hour's drive from Turin.
Legend has it that the name of the inn goes back to the time of Emperor Frederick I, known as Barbarossa, who, returning from Milan with the relics of the Three Kings, stopped at the inn, which has since been named in memory of the event.
The main hall is classic and elegant, with parquet floors and wainscoting with large mirrors.
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and pleasant.
The tables, covered with rich linen, are set with light-colored chairs and decorated with centerpieces, some depicting the Three Kings, others the Queen.
The Tre Re restaurant, a haute cuisine destination since the 1960s, has always been a true institution of Piedmontese cuisine and is now a quality, refined and satisfying gastronomic stop.
Here you will find a cuisine well anchored in tradition, with historical and unchanging dishes such as finanziera, flanked by well calibrated proposals of modern cuisine, including fish.
At the Ristorante Tre Re (Three Kings Restaurant) we have renewed the Award of Excellence of the Convivium for the quality of the cuisine and the hospitality.
