Il Gallo della Checca, a truffle restaurant with its own Tartufaia as well as an osteria and wine shop since 1986, is located in Ranzo, a small inland Ligurian village on the border with Piedmont. The DaMà restaurant is the gastronomic concept, refined and full of character but also easy, of the magnificent Relais Villa d'Amelia , of which a rich Reportage is published in lemilleUnanotte .


The furnishings are refined and tasteful, with elegant dark parquet floors, fabrics draped over the skylights and effective lighting. The large windows overlooking the beautiful landscape of the Langhe constitute a further element of distinction and appeal.


Chef Dennis Cesco, former sous-chef of Damiano Nigro, has taken great care not to propose the more personal dishes, which would have become a simple copy, instead starting his own path that arouses pure enthusiasm in us and in which we can glimpse the fabric of the champion.
