Arburent, Osteria di Confine - Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL)

The name "Arburent" for the new "Osteria di Confine" by Federico Costa is a choice that encompasses the philosophy of the restaurant: an Osteria that celebrates the beauty of borders, understood not as separation, but as a union of traditions and flavors, and the multiple family roots of the Chef, who has grandparents from Val Borbera, Tortona, Lombardy and Veneto. The interiors of the venue are the result of a careful, radical renovation of the pre-existing hairdressing salon. The result is warm, welcoming and full of character, with bold but restful colours. Arburent is a pleasant modern tavern with a new generation concept. The cuisine of its Chef and owner Federico Costa is based on selected ingredients, seasonality and attention to detail. Antica Osteria Magenes - Barate (MI)

The Antica Osteria Magenes, JRE member, is located in Barate, a hamlet of Gaggiano, easily reachable from Milan following the course of the Naviglio Grande.
The sign tells a centenary story, which began in the distant past with Arturo, Ernestina, Carlo and Nunzia, has continued more recently with mother Mariella Magenes and continues today with her children Dario and Diego, respectively Chef and Maitre del locale.

The interiors, structured in two rooms and a "jardin d'hiver", are warm and welcoming, with tables highlighted by a well-designed lighting.

At the Antica Osteria Magenes we had a great gastronomic experience, rich and refined, full of suggestions, learned references and surprises.
The cuisine of Dario Guidi unravels with a sure hand from the must of the Milanese tradition, sometimes revisited in a fusion key, to extreme research, always with an admirable balance.

You will have fun, but of each dish you will understand flavors, references and quotations.
