The Langhe and the Monforte d'Alba district have recently been enriched with a new cuisine of great interest: the Gennaro Di Pace restaurant is located in Perno, a tiny village with a castle perched high up in a very panoramic position.
A nice place, wanted by Gregorio Gitti, owner of the castle and producer of excellent wines, who convinced Gennaro to leave his Saracena, in the province of Cosenza to reach the hills of Barolo.
The interiors are developed on a single rectangular room, furnished in a minimal style with some bold touches of color, which hosts contemporary works of art in rotation.
A young and talented chef, Gennaro Di Pace has brought a breath of fresh air to the Langa by operating a personal kitchen, with interesting ideas and intelligent references to his land of origin. His menu is composed correctly of a few dishes, which already from the description arouse curiosity and desire to taste... The cozy and pleasant place and a delicate and well-marked service well prepare for the perfect success of the tasting experience.
