Il Gallo della Checca, a truffle restaurant with its own Tartufaia as well as an osteria and wine shop since 1986, is located in Ranzo, a small inland Ligurian village on the border with Piedmont. Il Pavone is the Regional Cuisine Restaurant at Relais Il Canalicchio, a charming hotel carved out of a medieval village set in a scenic hillside location in Umbria, just a few miles from Perugia.


The location is truly picturesque, thanks to the large glass terrace overlooking the pool and surrounding hills. There is no shortage of an indoor dining room, which is operational in the early cold weather. Service is coordinated by Maître Alessio Dottori. Tables are set with clear tablecloths, Broggi cutlery and the right wine glasses.


Il Pavone is an excellent regional cuisine restaurant with an exceptional location.

Chef Silvano Menghini is appreciated for his well-balanced preparations in flavors, executed with quality ingredients.
